An unknown Facebook account using the display name 'Obi Favor' sent an unsolicited message claiming it was their birthday and offering a 20GB mobile data giveaway in exchange for the recipient's phone number. This is a well-documented social engineering tactic used to harvest phone numbers for follow-on fraud including smishing, vishing, and OTP interception. The target correctly declined and shared no personal information.
